For this Design Challenge for 50L Home, we were asked to understand the citizen’s behavorial traits that leed to water waste in Barcelona. In the research phase, it was evident that people aren't aware of the water scarcity problem since they don't understand the impact in their water consumption levels. There aren't easy ways to access this data, and even when there is a way, numbers aren't a good reference for the consumers' full comprehension.
Our brain is not designed to imagine very large numbers, nor spaces or objects of gigantic dimensions. So the only shortcut we have to deal with similar concepts is the use of analogies that allow us to establish ways of visualizing things.
